Maryland's 2nd congressional district covers much of Baltimore and Carroll counties along with a portion of the city of Baltimore. The seat is held by Democrat Johnny Olszewski, who was elected in 2024 with 58.2% of the vote and won his 2026 primary with 84.5%.
Dave Wallace, a business owner and perennial candidate, won the Republican primary with 27,136 votes, or 88.9%, defeating IT contractor and perennial candidate Nnabu Eze. Wallace faces Olszewski in the general election on November 3, 2026.
