David Pan is running again in California's 46th congressional district in 2026, once more challenging Democratic incumbent Lou Correa.
In the top-two primary, Correa placed first with 51.94% of the vote and Pan, the only Republican on the ballot, finished second with 32.88%, which sent both men to the general election.
The Democrats eliminated in the primary were Christian Mendez, a data analyst, with 7.81%; Armando "Mando" Perez-Serrato, with 4.86%; and Frank Bahena, a military veteran, with 2.47%. Pan and Correa face each other in the general election on November 3, 2026.
