Shane Lewis, a U.S. Marine veteran, is the Republican candidate in the 2026 election for California's 18th congressional district. The incumbent is Democrat Zoe Lofgren, who was re-elected in 2024 with 64.6% of the vote.
In the top-two primary, Lewis finished second with 34,883 votes, or 29.31%, behind Lofgren's 54.86%. He placed ahead of Democratic college professor Luis Arreguín, who took 12.93%, and Chris Demers, a sustainable technology director with no party preference.
Lewis faces Lofgren in the general election on November 3, 2026.
