Diamant Hysenaj, a real estate developer, is the Republican nominee in the 2026 election for New York's 14th congressional district, which covers North Queens and the East Bronx, including Corona, Astoria, Hunts Point, Parkchester and Co-Op City.
Three other Republican candidates were disqualified, among them social media influencer Tina Forte, a nominee for the district in 2022 and 2024. The seat is held by Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who was re-elected with 69.2% of the vote in 2024 and won 87% of the vote in her 2026 primary.
In the general election on November 3, 2026, Hysenaj appears on the Republican and Conservative Party lines against Ocasio-Cortez, who also holds the Working Families Party line.
