Ralph Ambrosio, an attorney, is the Republican nominee in the 2026 election for New York's 20th congressional district, which is based in the Capital Region and includes Albany, Troy, Schenectady, Saratoga Springs, and Amsterdam.
The seat is held by Democrat Paul Tonko, who was re-elected with 61.1% of the vote in 2024 and is the Democratic nominee again. Ambrosio also appears on the ballot line of the Conservative Party of New York State.
He faces Tonko, who holds both the Democratic and Working Families Party lines, in the general election on November 3, 2026.
