Caitlin Rourk, a U.S. Army veteran and former Dell Technologies global-marketing employee, is the Democratic nominee for Texas's 10th congressional district in 2026.
Rourk was a director from 2012 to 2015 at DCI Group, a Washington-based lobbying and public-affairs firm, and initially filed to run in the 31st district before running in the redrawn 10th.
The seat is open because Republican incumbent Michael McCaul is forgoing reelection, and the district, redrawn in Texas's 2025 mid-decade redistricting, stretches from Austin through the Bryan-College Station area to rural east-central Texas.
Rourk won the Democratic primary with 60.8% of the vote against college professor Dawn Marshall and veterinary professional Bernie Reyna. In the general election on November 3, 2026, Rourk faces Republican Chris Gober, a political-law attorney and former chief lawyer of Elon Musk's America PAC.
